Sometimes you just need to relax and pamper your skin with facial masks and other skincare products. The ideal option is homemade masks made from the simplest ingredients that are always on hand. Such care costs practically nothing, but it gives amazing results - the skin becomes smooth, hydrated, elastic. Spring is the time to take care of yourself!
Home spas are useful not only for the body but also for the soul - moments with oneself create a pleasant atmosphere, allow you to transform and cheer up. And the most affordable means help in this. Cosmetologists recommend arranging such sessions as often as possible - at least 2-3 times a month.
Procedure for conducting procedures
Before applying the masks, the skin must first be cleansed with peeling or scrub. It is helpful to take a relaxing bath or a warm shower beforehand. Herbal preparations, such as chamomile and linden, or sea salt can be added to the water.
After a shower or bath, apply a scrub suitable for your skin type to slightly steamed skin. Peeling will make the skin smooth, remove dead particles, prepare the dermis for further procedures. The product should be rubbed gently, massaging in a circular motion so as not to injure the skin, and then rinse with warm water and pat dry with a towel.
Making a face scrub at home
The scrub can be bought at a store, pharmacy, or made at home. The best product is based on natural oils, extracts and fruits of plants and herbs with the addition of an abrasive - salt, sugar, ground coffee, crushed apricot kernels. How large and tough the exfoliating particles need to depend on the type of dermis. Only mild scrubs are suitable for sensitive skin.
The composition of the oil scrub is ideal. To prepare it, just mix shea or jojoba butter (or both) and a mild abrasive. This mixture is perfect for thin dry skin, while sugar and coffee peels are optimal for oily skin. Another option is coconut oil scrub. It not only cleanses but also moisturizes the skin and gives it a luxurious scent. Salt scrubs are more suitable for the body and are not recommended for the face.
